The Purpose
Having an accessible playground for all students is important in improving physical activity during the school day. Making the playground accessible at all times unrestricted allows for families in the community to participate in physical activity.
Steenrod Elementary School has brought important change to their community. Not only are they promoting physical activity, but they are also making play accessible for everyone. They continue to promote change and positively impact their students and community.
Improving the culture of physical activity in our state by providing awareness, education, guidance, and opportunities.
