The Main Goal
Fix up bikes to be able to donate to those in needs

The Purpose
Areas of low income may not be able to afford transportation, bikes for their children, or repairs on bikes. This program allows all children to have a chance of learning to ride a bicycle, encourages physical activity, and allows a form of transportation for some adults. It not only improves physical well being but also social well being in children and adults.

Building Capacity

Provide bikes for those who need to commute and also working on a presence in the community to teach people how to repair bikes. Provide bikes for children in low income housing, trans students, and promote minorities on bikes.

The Bottom Line

The project is very successful and has served over 300 children. They have been able to build many local relationships with other non profit organizations and work together. They continue to receive donations from many organizations and hundreds of bikes from an organization called Strider and work with the organization Nerd ER depot to recycle bike parts that are unable to be used.
