Stronger Communities: The new equipment provided Bluefield Primary teachers with a means to organize the structure of the gross motor time to be intentional in what physical skill they wanted to focus on.

Impacts of New Equipment

Bluefield Primary selected research-based equipment that was proven to increase students’ gross & fine motor skills. These materials increased the opportunity for students to improve in many areas by increasing their core strength, cognitive focus, and spatial awareness. Bluefield Primary also provided Yoga classes for staff in order to improve employee health and wellness as well as build a positive school culture
