The Bottom Line

The Charleston Sled hockey team is an adaptive hockey league for youth and adults who have physical disabilities and are unable to skate in standing position. This is a free program. They provide all equipment and have volunteers to help coach, and have PT and OT students volunteer to help with therapy. This program opens up new opportunities for exercise and creates a lasting community.
